Identify this Balenciaga

Thoughts on which color blue? only likely options are 08 Marine and 09 Officier (no pocket on mirror, and no color code), but I've never owned or touched either and I'm not familiar with the differences. I just bought a (purportedly) Marine City on FP and in the photos it looks like a lighter shade of blue than this Day.

In terms of leather feel, I can't tell it apart from my 05 black Days. It's that scrumptious.

The mirror should definitely have a pocket on it. Before I sent this Seafoam Twiggy back I took a pic of the back of the mirror and compared it to my 04 Light Turquoise as a reference.

I’ll let others speculate on the color, but the bag you show has more of a blue tint to it and Seafoam is more greenish.

Weird, I asked the seller whether the mirror has pocket. She said doesn’t have.

Looks like marine to me.

I'd never seen Marine so this Day looked darker than I'd imagined Marine to be. The City below is ID'd as Marine by from FP. Maybe just as lighting difference.

They stopped making the pocket on the back of the mirror in F/W 2008.

And it doesn’t have a color code on the back of the tag so that would be before 2010.

This dates the bag between F/W 2008 - F/W 2009. My guess is this is S/S 2009 Maldives.

It likely is, the leather looks right, the lighting might just be really hot. It makes it look a little too bright. I’ll drag up some pics of my marine and officier bags. I should have them somewhere.

Here is the zipper tape from the new blue Day. The leather looks way dark, almost black, but the blue shows up with flash photo.



Here it is compared to two other bags. Bottom is Ink, middle is the new blue, top is 05 black. Photo with and without flash. As you can see, it’s reeeeeeally dark. the leather looks and feels the same as the two chevres.
