Wow - Thanks to Casey Boston and BeenBurned! You are absolutely right! I've never even heard of an Oliver bag and I found a TON of these incorrectly listed as Andersons. I have a bunch of Coach so to have a bag I've never even heard of is wierd. Part of the problem is the full front photos don't show the side detail, and lots of Coach crossbodies look similar from the front.

Hi I need help with the Anderson crossbody 9996.
I have a bag identical to this listing on Posh. She has it as an Anderson bag. While it is similar to an Anderson with the structured base, it has split sides (see picture) which Anderson does not have.

Here is a listing for the Anderson that I am familiar with. No split sides. Which is right?

TIA!!!

I agree, the picture you posted looks like an Oliver, style 9902. I can't open any Mercari listings or Posh photos but seeing the actual creed and serial number is important, please include photos of the creeds and serial numbers when asking this kind of question. And when a bag has an outside pocket, include a photo of the side with the pocket. Sellers who don't do that are just plain lazy.

And BTW, the style number of the Anderson Zip is 9976, not 9996

Stop expecting every seller to know the correct name and age of what they're selling. Unfortunately many of them DON'T.

Does anyone know if this is real? I’ve tried doing a reverse image search and the only listing on Poshmark didn’t have a creed inside this small coin purse.

Hello! Looking for a style name on this lovely bag I found at a local re-sale. NYC made, number 810-9444. It measures 13" across, 7" top to bottom and 2" deep. Handles are 5" tall from brass ring x 6.5" wide edge to edge. Front, back, side and creed photos attached. Thank you! (edited to add photo of inside too.)

It's a slim satchel compact #9425. It made late 70s or 80s.

At your convenience if you could please help me out with this one and TIA.

I got this bag that I believe is a 4021 Pocket Drawstring from the Lightweights collection. What is throwing me off is that I didn't know this collection had any Spectator styles. The pocket on the front has the magnetic snap.
