I think I would have thrown the cheese at her, and then given her my standard anti-fake bag speech, informing her that she's supporting unfair trade practices, unfair/cruel labor practices, trademark infridgement, intellectual property theft, and international terrorism.

We have a new employee and the first day she comes in with an awful looking Chanel bag, then in a couple of days she shows up with a TERRIBLE Coach bag. After a couple of weeks (she must have gotten her nerve up by then) she says something to me about how she "just loves" designer bags, and she has found this great guy that sells them to her realllllllly cheap. This guy brings them to her at a friends house and his trunk is full of them!!! Long story short, she kept hinting to know how much I had paid for one of my Louis Vuitton, then how much I had paid for one of my Coach, and without telling her a dollar amount, she said "well you just let me know which bags you want and I'll get my friend to bring it, he can save you alot of money from the stores that have to pay rent to sell" ACK!!!!!!!!! I held my tongue through most of her sales pitch before telling her that I preferred to purchase my bags through the boutiques so I wouldn't have to be concerned with ugly fake bags!!!
This offer to save me money hasn't been brought up again, and neither has the question of how much I paid.
The sad thing is, I really believe she believes this "friend" and that these bags are AUTHENTIC, because they have the coach booklet!!!

I seriously don't understand why people buy fakes. I understand completly that not everyone can afford the cost of designer handbag, but why buy a fake? Don't buy anything. People just don't understand I guess. I hear it all the time as well. " Why would you spend 300 plus dollars on a bag when you get get one for 40 on the corner?" These people that tell me this are soo stubborn and stuck in their ways. It's really becoming frustrating and annoying, its almost like I have to constantly justify to people why buying authentic purses is better.

Some people don't care to know if it's real or not as long as it's cheap cause that's all that matters to them. Some people don't know that it's not real and think they're getting a deal. I feel sad for those that are getting tricked cause I got tricked years ago when I started getting into purses.
