I think I won an important arguement with my husband tonight...

I'm in the process of doing the same thing! Hopefully this means the 3 bags he hasn't seen yet will go unnoticed since he'll be too busy playing with his new toy!

trust me...once it's bike season, he'll be out on the weekends riding or in the garage tinkering with it!

that is, of course, unless you get a helmet and are forced to ride on the back of it! heheh...I haven't gotten a helmet yet and I keep telling him that's the only thing stopping me from riding with him...truth is...i'm TERRIFIED! I HATE bikes...and it took ALOT of me to understand this was something my husband really wanted and help him buy it (ok - i probably paid 96% of it...he did chip in some!)

and yes - rule number 1 was, even though it's not law here in CT, I want him to wear a helmet.

I think that's GREAT! I sent my husband on a trip for his 40th birthday, just in time for him to come back to my Mandy and matching wallet. Bet he won't say a word! LOL! Love how things work out, don't you? :)

Enjoy it girl!!!!

I love it. That is how my husband and I are with our money too. He has a 1966 Mustang that he has fully restored so until I spend as much money on Coach as he spent on the 'Stang there is no dicussion on how much things cost. I love it. It is like a blank check because every week there is something else to buy for that car and I just keep a tally when I see the receipts for parts.

I am smelling shopping spree when I visit San Fran in June!!!!

DeweyDrop,

You're brilliant! Thanks for sharing that great story. We have a lot of that around our house, too.

I would vote for the Legacy Leather Slim Tote. It fits comfortably over the shoulder, can be used year round, has that spankin' cool striped lining and is just stunning.

You could even name it GPS!

LOL... bikes are really fun Dewey!! You should go out and ride - have fun!! It's a great "free" feeling... My DH rode sport bikes before we even met, but when we were dating - he even taught me how to drive a bike on my own!! (And trust me, I am a girlie girl....) ;) Now I have my motorcycle license!!

I went through a period, after I had been riding for a while - that I was terrified of riding and didn't ride for like a year... We were living in a highly suburban area at the time, and I think I had a big problem with the traffic. Plus, I owned a business that depended on me being able to be physical at the time, and if I were to get hurt, it would have been a big income loss at the time....

DEFINATELY, wear a helmet... we have a scooter, dirt bikes, sport bikes, etc... We wear helmets no matter which one we are on, or no matter how FAR we are going!! Even if we are going around the block on the scooter, we wear helmets... you never know what can happen unexpectedly...

Also, I would highly suggest getting good bike gear... if anything were ever to happen, you stand a much better chance of not getting hurt if you are wearing a helmet, riding jacket, gloves, some sort of pants (NOT shorts), and actual shoes, not sandals...

Now, enough of the lecture... get out there and have some *safe* fun!!! :p

Congrats on winning your "argument"... anytime he wants to know why I need more bags, I just point to the garage...
