First of all, I'm in Canada so let me explain the pricing for you. Coach is on par in Canada with the US for pricing.

Kors unfortunately is not - the pricing is marked up in Canada which is very vexing considering the strength of the Canadian dollar this past year. That's why I would continually get sucked back into buying Coach - but my heart is more with Kors and it's stupid for me to buy something I don't like that much just because I can get it a bit cheaper (hmmmm, that sounds a lot like outlet shopping :p).

So to answer your question, the wallet we returned was the medium Kristin marcasite which was $118. The MK bag we bought was regularly $225, but on sale for 15% off. That same bag sold for around $198 in the US - so thankfully not too marked up for us Canadians. Kors bags are very odd - some have a huge markup in Canada, some are close, and a lot are in between, I have no idea how they set their Canadian pricing - it seems like a roll of the dice.

It definetely does not stand on it's own, it's very squishy/slouchy. The leather is softer than the Brooke leather. Insofar as size is concerned, the Brooke was in between the small and large Jet Set. From what I know about you - you are similar to me in what size bag you like, so I think you would find the large jet set too big.

Like I mentioned, the small can hold A LOT, it's really surprising, but it wouldn't fit "extras" and you may not consider it big enough for an every day bag. The Brooke was also wider.
