What a nice tribute to Ceejay. A beautiful bag to help keep her memory alive.

First, condolences to everyone on the loss of CeeJay. I have never carried Balenciaga (expensive, not a fan of lots of hardware and hanging doodads on my purses), but I do remember when she passed last year. Anyhow, I carried Coach for decades, lately it has been the soft tabby hobo, and while I like leather and the size, I decided to try something different. I picked up CeeJay's 2008 Black Cherry City, which arrived today, and this is one beautiful bag. Love, love, love the leather and the color, size is perfect, and handles and strap make more sense than on the tabby hobo. So pleased to be able to share this special memory of a special lady. Already changed out from my Coach, and ready to go once I clip the tag.

Thank you, Deco. I hope I can stop at just one bag, but it all depends if some blues are yet to come. My pearls are natural colored round blue Tahitians from Pearl Paradise. I have a lot of pearls, but I'm not a handbag person. I tend to get one and use it for years. But, all these colors are so tempting. We'll see.

I am so excited to share that it was me who managed to grab Ceejay's AG City. Sorry to everyone who wanted it too
I, like most others on this forum (especially Bal lovers) valued Ceejay's knowledge and I will admit her profile was the only one I would check to see if she posted anything new as she has so many juicy and funny stories in the other non Bal threads! I really miss her presence on TPF.
I understand this AG city was one of her HG bags so I am honored to be getting her and I will will treasure her as Ceejay did

Happy to say that I was able to purchase CeeJay’s ‘05 Dolma City! I sold my own Dolma City this past winter because I outgrew the distressed leather and hoped to find one that was more smooth and in better condition.. I think this one was meant to be mine, given that the quality is listed as “almost new”, and how seldom I even see a Dolma City pop up! I admittedly wanted the Pistachio one too, but I’m very happy that another PF member ended up with it haha

Hehe… think I was lucky and saw it listed on RDC very shortly after they were listed .. in my local time, it was early morning and when I opened my eyes in the morning and scrolled RCD on my phone, I saw those cute flat brass bags listed ….I, who was supposed to go prepare breakfast, immediately told my husband “I got something SUPER URGENT I need to do!” (Jumped out off bed and dashed to my laptop and started scrolling through and buying and typing my credit card number like super fast XD (I’m pretty fast in general… like people always say I talk fast, walk fast, do things pretty quickly and efficiently… my old colleagues used to call me “ speedy energetic bunny” ) ~ by the time I finished buying my husband had prepared breakfast for the both of us ^^ then I told him about CeeJay and my bag purchases and he was happy for me …it was a very good morning XD I’m already carrying my cute caramel flat brass crossbody bag today ^^
