Great bag, katev! I have a green Nomad and absolutely love the hobo style so I know why you like it so much. I also know what you mean about getting picky about buying similar colors. I will not buy another red-hued purse (unless I find the true red in Gramercy :amuse:) as I have way too many red variations for my wardrobe as it is. Your wallet and bag look great together...........I think they justify each other!

I know what you mean, I got my paprika Katarina out of the closet and carried it after I saw the carmine Nomad. That is usually enough to remind me that I already have a very nice bag that I love in the same color family and I don't need another bag - but this time it didn't work, I kept thinking about that Nomad.

So I went back to the outlet while carrying the Katarina to set the bags next to each other and take a good look at both of them. I figured that would be enough to convince me that I don't need another red/orange hobo, but that didn't work either. The carmine was on better sale as a further enticement. And I found a great deal on a beautiful wallet that would go great with the Nomad, and I still really, really liked the bag!

All the stars had aligned and I just had to buy it! :amazed:

Hi. Thanks for asking. Carmine, which is the same color as katev revealed earlier in this thread.

Red and orange bags are often difficult to see the true color IMO, that's why I took it outside to photograph it in the sunlight. They can look dull and muddy or bright or even garish depending on the lighting. I'm liking the Carmine but I like it best in the sunlight.

Carmine is a lovely color! [emoji106][emoji4] Although I have yet to have a Nomad bag (I would love to have a navy blue colored one), I have a wallet in the same shade or near carmine color. It's the discontinued LV Curieuse long wallet but I forgot the official name. It looks red orange/ orange red depending on the light too. I love it with a blue bag (I always use it with my blue Limited Edition Longchamp Le Pliage Artwalk) and that's why I want a Nomad in navy blue :)

Congrats again SEWDimples and katev on your lovely bags and in such a steal price! [emoji4]

I bought a Phoebe in Carmine at the beginning of summer and just loved it. Orange is so much more versatile than one would think.
I loved it so much I bought all the matching accessories at the last big Dillards sale.

I love your carmine nomad! I'm considering getting one myself. Is it definitely more orange than red?
It is definitely more orange than red. In some lighting it looks completely orange and in other light is looks orange with red undertones. It is unusual and pretty IMO.

The bag is available on the Factory Online Sale right now ($247, free shipping) and they had them in the outlets ($198) last week. Good luck!

I have been carrying mine for a week and I haven't felt the need to change bags. But I have carried red and orange/red bags before and it was never a problem. I have an orange blazer and I might not want to carry it with that, but otherwise I can't think of any big conflict. It makes a nice pop of color with most outfits.

Do you usually carry neutral bags? In that case this would be a big change but you might enjoy putting some color into your purse wardrobe.

Do you have an outlet or retail Coach store near you? The FOS has free shipping over $200 so you could order it and if you decide that you don't like it then you can take it back for a full refund. I find that I return more frequently when I order from FOS than store and outlet purchases. It is just harder to tell if you will like something when you can only see it online.

If you order from FOS, be sure to pay with a credit card not PayPal. If you use a credit card the outlet will refund your purchase directly on the same card. If you use PayPal you will have to ship it back to JAX to get a refund. I believe that if you return an outlet or FOS purchase to one of the retail/boutique stores, they will give you a merchandise credit that you can use either online or in a store or outlet.
