it was even better because i had $214 left on a gift card I received earlier this year. I only paid $99 for everything including tax. I know that a gift card is real money but it really felt good to pay so little for such great items!

Good Evening katev. Yes, I did buy the bag. I keep looking at it. I need to get used to the color.
I own 2 other Nomads (Oxblood and Exotic Colorblock Sand), which I love.
I own regular size Saddle in the color Tabac with Carmine lining and glovetanned clutch in Carmine.
I will probably keep it because I have nothing else like it in my collection.

It makes good sense to wait awhile before snipping the tags. If you don't think that it is the right bag for you then you should take it back - there will always be another bag to love!

Lovely bag! i played about with a Nomad at the factory store the other weekend, love it. Just i cannot carry shoulder bags. The wallet is nice, i was seriously considering one myself but it was a smaller version. It has great storage and the mix of colors is fun. Enjoy!

Red and orange bags are often difficult to see the true color IMO, that's why I took it outside to photograph it in the sunlight. They can look dull and muddy or bright or even garish depending on the lighting. I'm liking the Carmine but I like it best in the sunlight.

Great bag, katev! I have a green Nomad and absolutely love the hobo style so I know why you like it so much. I also know what you mean about getting picky about buying similar colors. I will not buy another red-hued purse (unless I find the true red in Gramercy :amuse:) as I have way too many red variations for my wardrobe as it is. Your wallet and bag look great together...........I think they justify each other!
