I stopped by the outlet in Aurora IL on Monday for the first time in awhile. They had more FP delete bags than usual and they were in clearance at 50% off retail. I was very attracted to one bag but I didn't get it and left, but I kept thinking about that bag. I went back on Friday and saw that the bag was still there and the clearance bags were now 60% off, so I had to buy it! Here's a couple of teaser pics, any guesses?

First I will show you what else I bought. I really love a beautiful wallet and I have so many wallets that I don't need any more. Some of my wallets match my bags and others are complementary but I have lots of wallet choices for all my bags.

But I am delighted with this wallet, it is so soft and nicely made and I love the colors! It is the Colorblock Flap Slim Envelope Wallet 53858 SV DYU and it retailed for $225 but I got it for only $90 - how could I resist this wallet at that price? I didn't!

Here are some pics, I took them outside so the colors would look more accurate in the sunlight, ignore my weedy lawn! TriFlap03.JPG TriFlap04.JPG

Isn't anybody around today? Well, it is such a beautiful day I am sure coachies are carrying their bags, having fun, and enjoying the day.

The reason I hesitated buying this bag was because it is in the red/orange family and I already have several bags in that color pallette. I have a crinkle patent Katerina hobo in paprika with silver hardware, a rust suede and black leather rhyder workwear satchel with gunmetal hardware, a peach Kristin hobo with brass hardware, and a rose patent Kristin round satchel with silver hardware.

These are all very different bags, made of different materials and in different colors, but I hesitated to buy another one because it's not like there's a gaping hole waiting for an orange/red bag in my purse wardrobe! If I feel like wearing a reddish bag, I already have choices!

Anybody around yet?

Yes!

Gorgeous! And looks great with the wallet!

Thanks, I think so too! Even though the wallet is pebbled and the bag is smooth leather, they just seem to complement each other and the combination of the orange and pink colors are great!

The flap wallet came in other color combos too. I found this picture on the web.

This is my first Nomad bag. I have been attracted to this line of bags for some time but I never made a purchase because I own several classic, vintage bags that were the inspiration for the Nomad style, but this pretty carmine color with the bright pink leather lining really appealed to me.

They had the Navy, pebbled-leather, fringed Nomad when I was at the outlet on Monday but I didn't like it as much as I expected. It seemed kind of stiff and light-weight but that's just my opinion. It is a very distinctive bag.

The young, male, SA almost ruined the sale for me! He told me that he bought a black Nomad for his Grandmother and she really, really loved it! I thought "Oh great, an old lady bag!" but then I decided that I would be a rocking old lady when I carried that carmine-colored Nomad!

I searched Purse Forum and the web and I couldn't find much info about the carmine Nomad. I don't think that it was a very popular color, it seems that the True Red and Black Cherry bags were much more popular. Those are gorgeous bags but this orange/red carmine color really appeals to me!

Right now they have the True Red Nomad on the Factory Online Sale for 50% off ($247.50) with free shipping. That's a beautiful bag at a great price but it makes me even happier that I waited a few days and got the carmine bag for $198!

Congrats on this beautiful bag! I think carmine is so pretty -- reminds me a bit of legacy carnelian. I love the pink interior as well. Great wallet too. Enjoy your goodies!

Thanks, even though I hesitated to buy it, I am sure that I will love it - and I never had any doubt about that wallet!
