are those prices in platinum or white gold?
are you set on having to have the best color and clarity in your ears? Where no one will ever be super close to them?
If so, that's awesome! But no one will be able to tell the earrings are an E or an H in your ear, also SI1's don't have visble inclusions when you look at them face on. . . so you're eating up a lot of premiums looking for these high color/clarity stones when you could set the exact same size in an G-H color and SI clarity and not tell them apart. As long as the cut is amazing, the latter choice will be equally fantastic.
For around $1800, you could probably score closer to 1cttw if you look around.

Unless you are highly color sensitive, I would drop the color to G-H...even J and drop the clarity to SI1. As long as they are well cut stones, they are going to be beautiful...and you will be able to get bigger!

I agree...I have G VS2 and they look fine. 1.50 tcw is a good size, with the right cut could pass for 1 carat each ear. Don't buy a diamond that's too deep, get one with more surface at the top, cut well, though. Good luck and have fun.

Swanky, they're white gold. No i'm not really set on the color cuz like you said i can't even really tell the difference..i'm more on clarity on my ears cuz I like the sparkle when it's behind my hair. ok good..so I'm pretty decided I'm gonna look for SI earrings, and i'm hoping to get closer to 1 cttw..but looking at those sizes I didn't mind the .75cttw that was a pretty good size.

thanks again ladies!

W/ a quick search online, I found those prices to be similar to ones set in platinum. Which means their mark-up is bigger than some others.
I'd consult Whiteflash personally, you can get bigger stones in that same setting for that price.
