So I posted this thread like 2 weeks ago....http://forum.purseblog.com/the-jewelry-box/horrible-experience-turned-good-289708.html

Long story short....got a toy watch, toy watch broke. Went and exchanged it for a Michael Kors watch, Kors watch broke.

So I am not having good luck with watches

So I am looking for a good every day watch, but something that can be dressy. I am thinking in the price range of about $400.00 (maybe more)
I would love it to have some gold if possible, since my wedding band is gold!

Any help would be great! Thanks so much!

For a really classic and dependable watch, have you looked at Swiss Army? I have a stainless steel, but they also make stainless + gold and they are pretty reasonable. I've had my watch for four years now and have had no trouble with it, except for replacing the battery last fall.

What broke? The band?

the part that locks down the band....and I was going to just exchange it for a new one, but at that point in time i was so sick of driving back and forth to bloomingdales and having to deal with broken watches!
