Ok ladies, here's what I know: the last two years I've been hitting the outlets for after Christmas sales, and there are usually lots of good deals on the old Coach floorsets and leftover bags from the previous year. Last year I got my Hamptons Carryall for $140 (retail at that time was around $400 I think) and the limited edition Coach mosaic suede hobo for about $220 (it retailed for a lot, I forget now, like $500). I'm also still kicking myself for not buying a Daphne then, I remember my outlet had a couple and my outlet rarely gets the really good bags. The previous year I didn't have quite as much money, but I still got some really good deals on some little accessories. You shouldn't bother going the day after Christmas IMO because the stuff has to get shipped to the outlet, so I was advised to wait a few days by the SAs. I'm planning on going on the 29th or so because that's when I get back into town. Usually the sales are great up through the first two weeks in January because new stuff comes in every day. The prices are definitely lower and the variety is better than any other time of the year (the Labor Day sale is also very good IMO though). I wouldn't get stressed out about it, but I'd definitely make the trip to see what they'll have.

:roflmfao: deweydrop you crack me up! But hey, I have a problem too! ROFL When I found out yesterday that the outlets will have good sales after Christmas, I was like "I"M THERE!". :wtf: I've spent so much money already!! It's like a sickness.... one I   !!

Does anyone know if it's better to go the day right after Christmas? Or does it not matter if you go a few days after?

The day after Christmas is usually packed at the outlet in my experience. I went 2 years ago on the 26th and the 27th and they had a lot of great deals. Not sure how it will be this year.

:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Thank you for the great info vanojr9!!! I'll wait a bit and then go, probably around the 29th as well.

... oh boy, another 3 hour drive to the outlet... my husband is going to bust a gut! :sweatdrop: Oh but what fun I'll have anyway! :wlae:

Thanks handbag helen! Initially I wasn't going to go after Christmas, because I've spent WAY TOO MUCH lately at the retail store, but, hey, why not go all out? :jammin:

Thank you so much for that info!

Can't wait now!

I am off the 26th but I think a better day to hit the outlets would be a few days after returns start. Their sales start on Thur anyway, unless they make an exception for after XMas.
