Happy Birthday to both of you!!! That's so cool you guys got to meet!
Since this seems like mostly MI ladies, I"m going to Somerset on Monday. Are there any musts i should do there? It's my first time. I want to go to Tiffany for my mom's bday and that is so far the only real goal. If you could let me know, that'd be great!

Yea! Somerset is laid out pretty well, and there are directorys at the ends of most of the hallways, so its pretty convenient.

I usually park at Nordstrom's or by the second floor entrance on the Nordies/Macy's side and just use the crosswalk over to the other side, even though that is my usual destination... I feel like I get to see more that way.

On the Nordies/Macy's side these stand out: Victorias Secret (1st floor), Ann Taylor Loft (1st floor), Anthropologie (1st floor), Gucci (1st floor), Pottery Barn (2nd floor), Sephora (2nd floor), Aldo (2nd floor), Urban Outfitters (3rd floor)

On the Saks/NM side these stand out: Coach (2nd floor), J Crew (2nd floor), MAC (2nd floor) Crate & Barrel (1st & 2nd floor), LV (1st floor), Tiffanys (1st floor), TUMI (1st floor), Kate Spade (1st floor)

I don't really know if any of this is going to help... but I would suggest getting a directory when you get there to sort out your route. The first time I went there, I missed a bunch of stuff. Enjoy your trip!

Did you know that Somerset is really two malls connected by a covered walking ramp over Big Beaver road? It is so cool, my daughter calls it the indoor walking ramp. Louis Vuitton,Coach, Tiffany NM, Saks etc is South of Big Beaver and the other side hasNordstoms, Macys etc. There are 3 Starbucks at that mall!! That is a must...Coach is really small at the moment, they are renovating the store .
Enjoy and walk the whole mall!!!
