It doesn't really seem like it would work for a formal affair. Not unless we have different ideas of "formal". When I think formal I think country club dinner, wedding, holiday party...and I do not think this would be the best choice even in all black. Now if when you say formal you mean a business meeting, business event than I think it is a great fit.

Thank you, I truly appreciate your input! I rarely have formal parties and such like this come up anymore in my life. Twenty years ago I didn't even have to shop for one--I just had the clothes because so many things came up. Now, not so much. I'll keep on the lookout.

Such a gorgeous bag - love it!

I absolutely *LOVE* the direction Coach is taking with bags like this, the Urbane, the Borough... so classy & definitely on par with premier designers. They're really stepping up their game.

The Leopard one looks amazing. I saw the Spring preview and saw a python and white leather one that I will be getting for Spring/Summer.

I know my store told me that they would not be getting it in. My SA asked that I stop by to show her the bag since she wouldn't be seeing it otherwise. So, my advice is to order it if you want to see it IRL.

Are there two different sizes for this bag? COACH calls this the Large Clutchable but the Black/pink Clutchable on the website looks quite a bit smaller yet they give the same measurements on both??? Would you mind giving me the measurements of your lovely bag?

Thank you for your nice words. Measurementwise mine is 16" long. Unfolded it is 12" tall and folded it is 7 3/4" tall. Hope that helps.
