I was just looking at this on the Coach site yesterday. I need a clutch for a formal affair coming up in the future. I sure would like this in black; I'm sure one will be released soon. Thanks so much for the reveal! It is lovely. Enjoy it!

It doesn't really seem like it would work for a formal affair. Not unless we have different ideas of "formal". When I think formal I think country club dinner, wedding, holiday party...and I do not think this would be the best choice even in all black. Now if when you say formal you mean a business meeting, business event than I think it is a great fit.

The zipper pull and contrasting black leather pull are so pretty. And you can see the gorgeous leather grain.

The handbag is on the inside attached to its own little D ring. The bag is lined in black satin and has a black label as well as a black creed stamp. Very pretty. I want to call this line the Coach Black Label line!

The big zipper opens to the main compartment. Under the flap there is a magnetic closure wide slip opening that accesses the same area. There is also a magnetic closure wide slip opening to a separate compartment on the back.
