I have to report an AWFUL Coach ebay seller to my tpf friends.....

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

Shouldn't the seller have to pay for the return shipping? I mean, the whole idea of the paypal process is to make you whole again, but if you end up being out $10.00 or whatever the return shipping costs, then you still lost money in the process. Maybe email Paypal and ask them what is the next step?

***edit***
Oh I just saw the auction link. Be glad you aren't keeping that bag. I know I mention this all the freakin' time it seems like *L*, but we had a few of the same dusted gold bags at the outlet and they ended up going up on clearance because they stained/spotted pretty easily. Even as a final sale super clearance we couldn't get rid of some of them.
no, that's not the link to my auction, that's someone else talking about a bad seller

I am so glad to hear that Paypal found in your favor. Tell her if she wants it sent via a reputable carrier she has to pay for shipping, otherwise it goes out carrier pigeon!!

paypal told me no furthur action was required, so I'm just going to wait. if the seller tells me she wants it back, she can pay for shipping.

she can't sue me or anything can she?

If paypal asks you to send it back, then I would. Otherwise, give it a few weeks and maybe send it to the cleaners and see what they can do with it. I wouldn't feel bad though, if she wanted it back she would have asked already.

you really need to send the bag back. you got your money back (which included shipping) so you really should just send it back....dont try and cheat the system because what goes around comes around.

I really never wanted to cheat the system or be dishonest. More than anything I don't want to spend money on this stupid woman. I guess I'll wait just a couple days to see if she contacts me, then send it back parcel post super cheapo

I wish something could be done about sellers misrepresenting things. I mean dirty or scratched is NEVER EVER Excellent Condition. I bought a patchwork a few weeks ago that was said to be in Excellent Conditon. The seller also used the words Pristine and Immaculate Condition. It came in and was badly scratched on one side and lightly scratched on the other. Noticeable scratches. How can anything scratched be excellent condition!
