i've been wanting the apricot double swagger all season, so finally i ordered it. cant wait to see if it ships. now to figure out how to sneak such a big box into the house!! i have the 39 rogue in green and love it, figure this is roughly the same size. love the detail on it. went back and forth between apricot and tobacco, but i do have a number of darker musettes, so figure this is a fun color.

The bag doesn't seem any heavier then my rogues and the apricot is beautiful and unusual. I already have a hobo in apricot with gold hardware - it's an older style but I probably don't need 2 apricot bags - I hope that you love it and that you can successfully sneak it in to the house!

Love this color! I saw a pic of a Rogue in this color, I think it was from Japan? Well, I hope they release tobacco Rogues in the US as I’d love one!

About the feet, it doesn’t look like chipping or flaking but more like bag was dragged across a rough surface? Maybe while getting wrapped up? I feel like when I’ve seen hardware that is defective it is more like in flakes coming off. Although I haven’t experienced it so I can’t confirm.

I hope you can figure it out! Congrats.

I think somehow the mark is too even from getting dragged across a surface; if that was the case, I would expect scratches all over the feet, and not only missing coating on one side only. That looks like chipping from black copper for me. But you're right, usually they're flecks/specks like on the alpine moss borough bags.

I unboxed my Purple Rogue 25 just this morning, and it also had scraped up feet despite being wrapped to the nines! Coach must be shoving these across a rough surface at the factory. Ugh. View attachment 4078066

Thanks! Are you planning to keep it? I don't worry much about the bottom of the feet, it's the way that the hardware will wear elsewhere on the bag that worries me.

I remember that you revealed a double swagger a few months ago, how do you like carrying the bag? How does it compare to a rogue? Thanks again!

Definitely keeping it. While I do think a BRAND NEW bag should look flawless, it's probably not worth my time returning and re-ordering to potentially see the same issue on the next bag.

Since all but one of my 1941 bags has Black Copper hardware, I'm not concerned about the wear over time. I absolutely prefer the look of Black Copper over brass hardware. My oldest bag with Black Copper is my Rogue 36, and honestly, it hasn't shown much wear at all, if any. It's coming up on a year and a half old now, and while I do rotate bags a lot (too many!), it's one of the few I use the most! When I purchased my Oxblood Rogue Satchel, the feet were also already scraped up there, and it remains the only scraped up hardware on that bag still.

I do like carrying the Double Swagger -- it's a great size, and I find that the layout (1 large space, but also with a sizeable easy-access slip pocket on the front) works really well for me. Honestly, the only thing stopping me from carrying it more is the fact that I find the brass hardware too blingy and attention-grabbing. I wish I had waited for that Navy one, but now I don't want to take a massive loss on selling the one I have just to swap for the same bag.

Thanks! I have a few bags and accessories with black hardware, but they are all nickel (e.g., dark nickel, antique black nickel, burnished nickel, etc.) or gunmetal. The black copper is new to me and it's the first time I have gotten a new bag with the hardware already showing signs of wear, so it is a bit concerning. I am still debating but I will probably keep it; but I'm not sure.

I really liked the navy double swagger, it also had the black copper hardware, and it is a beautiful bag

I wouldn't worry too much about wear on the feet. I do agree that it is an expensive bag and should be flawless when you get it but it might not be worth your time or trouble to get it replaced. If you are near a store then maybe it would be worth it. I know Coach will take the bag and replace hardware for free for 1 year. I had this happen with a Dinky and I just brought it out again and have been wearing it a couple weeks and noticed the same hardware that was just replaced has chipped again. I am rather annoyed as I already have another bag (my metallic pink mailbox) out being repaired for hardware chipping. That one had issues almost right away, literally 1 week after I started carrying it the hardware was chipping.

Good guess! I got the Coach Double Swagger in Tobacco with Black Copper Hardware. The style number is 25133 BP TOB and the retail price is $795 but it was 50% off at $397.50.

I went there looking for something light and summery and I got this bag instead, but I love the details and I don't have any bags in a saddle or tobacco color.

Here are the pics and it is gorgeous, but I do have one concern that I will tell you about next, because I need advice.

The color changes with the light so the first 2 pics are with and without the flash. I love the oxblood leather lining with the tobacco.

I usually hang fobs on my bags (because it gives me an excuse to buy fobs!) but there is so much going on with this bag that I didn't hang one on the front. I did put my robot fob on the back of the bag but I may decide to take it off the bag.

My friend got this bag for her birthday and it put me in a bag frenzy. The pics don’t do it justice when you hold it the weight and materials make it a luxurious addition to any wardrobe. Good catch with that sale. Congratulations [emoji898]

Thanks, it's not really the feet that worry me; I am concerned about the dogleash clips and loops for attaching the strap to the bag; it will be metal on metal friction - but I do love the bag!

You can see the dogleash clips and loops in this photo:
