The round with baguettes is a classic, but the cushion/halo style is on its way to becoming one and is much more contemporary. Definitely the micropave cushion!

No offense, but I agree -- the other one looks very dated to me. It is the style of my first engagement ring over 25 years ago.
The halo is more modern.

I get a quote from another sa, n i think it is abt the same price for a cushion in micropave and a round with side baguettes.
This is so difficult as initially i like the cushion, then i thought i can get a better value for the round.
Will the round diamond hold its value more?
A 1.52 f vs2 would be 34700 including the sides diamonds.

If choosing the round brilliant, there is a hca calculator on pricescope to make sure the stone can perform in fire and so on.
What about cushion? How do we know whether the stone really could perform and not the store lighting tat makes it sparkles. N there r many cushions types to choose, which one can sparkle like the round?
