Hi Cyn, I hope you don't mind, dh bought me the same scarf today. He took me shopping at SF H today to find a scarf for my rouge Kelly. We were shown 5 scarves, but this was his favorite. This scarf is really gorgeous irl
. He liked the color combination and of course more importantly, the pattern because he said it's "the roots of the H company".
Of course I don't mind! But it does naturally mean that you have to send your Rouge Kelly to me for 6 months a year from now on.
Thanks so much for the kind words, everyone! lizavet, you really made me laugh with the comment about H being cheaper than therapy. I'm not sure that's necessarily the case, but at least with me it's a heck of a lot more effective!
Not grouchy anymore--well, at least not at the moment, haha--but hey, the good news is that I can blame any grouchiness on medications I'm taking and DH can't really say a word.
I didn't want to start a whole new thread for the other little H goodie I picked up this weekend, so I'll just stick it here. I was looking for a cute little case to go into my bag, and I was peeking at the felt ones that are meant to be for bridge cards. When the SA on that floor approached me, I asked if they had any red ones with silver HW, as the only red one out on the floor had gold. She opened up the drawer, and what did I spy??
Not felt, but....leather! In Rouge H! With silver!!

I love this little thing, and have already used it to hold my iPhone one one occasion, and as a quick little errand wallet on another occasion. Very useful! (And hey, DQ, I bet it would hold feminine products discreetly too LOL)
As is often the case with H, as soon as I buy a little piece like this, I wish I were a designer there becuase I can think of just a few tweaks for this little goodie that would make it even MORE useful and practical.
If they moved the snaps about an inch down on the front, it would close fully and be a great little wallet, and if they added just a simple flap inside for credit cards, that would be perfect. Lastly, a little grommet with a short chain and a keyring at the end, and it would be a perfect "errand wallet" or city wallet when you're just popping down to the corner store for a Diet Coke and a paper.
And it would be a heck of a lot less expensive than a Bearn or a Dogon, too. (As it is designed now, it's like $430 or something).
