I was tormented with the same problem when I bought my white and rose Legacy bags. A lot of women on here recommended the Apple leather conditioner on leatherstuff.com. They said they used that conditioner (not the cleaner) on their bags and their bags remain beautiful. So I bought it, used it, and nothing has happened to my bags - no discoloration or anything.

OMG I am so sorry! Your poor bag!Yes, try the Apple conditioner and see how it goes. I may help lessen the water spots even if it does not get them out completely, and it cleans and protects as well as moisturizes, so it may help with some of the dirt as well. The leather will probably need a good conditioning after all the dry warm air from the hairdryer anyway.
You can get 20% at www.leatherstuff.com right now with code "memorial day" so it is a good time to try it out. Good luck!
UNOFFICIAL HOW TO REMOVE A PEN MARK TIP!
We've had success with this on SOHO white & pink leather bags so far. Buy a bottle of rubbing alcohol (85 cents a bottle at kroger), dip a cotton swab in it. Gently blot the cotton swab with a paper towel. Rub the swab gently over the pen mark and it should come out!
IMPORTANT - if you're nervous about trying this out, test it on a small patch of leather in an unnoticeable spot first to see that it doesn't damage the leather. This tip is for COACH leather bags only, so use it on other bags at your own risk.
I have a clay legacy that is a mess....It was sitting on the kitchen counter and my husband spilt and splashed water all over it. I quickly took a hair dryer to it and that helped the bigger spots but the smaller ones are all over it. Do you think the Apple conditioner will help blend in the water marks? I bought it used and the bottom is dirty too... does the Apple conditioner do anything for the dirt? I'm just sick over this.I haven't even used it yet!
