how soon after buying do you use a new bag?

loading up a new bag before I get it home is something I've never done
It was my first time doing that! But I’ve had my eye on it (meaning I watched countless YouTube reviews) and went to see and try it on a couple weeks prior, so I had no doubts about the bag when I bought it. I live near the Canadian border and I felt like one of them because many will wear their beat up clothes and shoes to shop here and then change into their new purchases in the mall bathrooms to avoid paying duties when they go home. You will literally see old shoes and clothes in the garbage cans, as well as the boxes that the new ones came in. I at least got to keep my nice gift box.

I tend to use it the next day after receiving it- if I don't it's a sign I might not be as in love with the bag. After receiving my Givenchy Pandora 2ish weeks ago- it's been worn every weekend and the Celine Luggage Mini is now my winter work bag (so grateful for the zip closure in the rainy weather)... my newest bag I received last Thursday and it hasn't left the dust bag since my first inspection but that's more because it's white.

Almost immediately. and wear it often till I want to change it or doesn’t go with an outfit but that rarely happens.
I do wear all my bags a lot. Except my WOC but that’s because I made the wrong choice with it but a Stafiano girl leather.I’m not a a Stafiano and I went with it just to give variety to my small collection since all my other bags are quilted leather.

but honestly now I feel ughh whatever I shouldn’t care about variety and gte another quilted leather since it’s obsession. I’m in my quilted bags phase and buy a non one just made me regret that WOC.

so my lesson if I’m into quilted bags well I should have stayed with those. my WOC doesn’t make me that happy because it’s not quilted.

If I haven’t worn a new bag in the first week it goes back. if I am not excited enough to wear it almost immediately then it‘s unlikely I’ll ever wear the bag. Especially for premier brands. And these things are too much money to just sit in my closet.
