How old were you when you got your first Cartier piece?

I’m 38 and got my very first Cartier this year. Hubby and I got matching yellow gold Love cuffs (one diamond for me ) and yellow gold rings for our 10-year wedding anniversary. At this point, I’m at Cartier-peace but I guess never say never.
Haha I thought the same thing. I thought for sure I was content with one regular Love bangle, then I wanted to stack it so I got the small Love bangle. I love the way it looks together. So you never know! :graucho:

I was 40. It was when Hubbs and I got engaged. In place of the traditional engagement ring I opted for a Love set (WG engagement wedding band, WG eight diamond band and the small WG Love bracelet). I got him a Love wedding band. This was definitely a day to be remembered seeing we flew to France and made our purchases at the Place Vendome in Paris. What a fabulous experience!!!!
I must say I truly appreciate the person who posed this question. It has made me recall one of my most cherished memories. When Hubbs and I were at the Place Vendome Cartier in Paris (when I got my first Cartier piece. See first post) the SA showed us the traditional way of putting on the Love bracelet. She gave Hubbs the screwdriver and instructed us to silently say a message of love to the other as the bracelet was locked onto my wrist!!! I remember this moment so vividly. After saying our silent message of love there was a click indicating the bracelet was locked and Hubbs and I sat there looking in each other’s eyes. What a moment!!!!

Not sure, but think it was must de Cartier watch
( early 80’s, rectangular vermeil face, leather strap)
maybe in eighth or ninth grade
I could be totally off though

ETA: forgot to add that i love your photo too @Tempo

What a beautiful memory. I love this! So amazing.

@Tempo, your picture is gorgeous. I love it. I agree, it does look like it's straight out of a Cartier photoshoot ad.

I got myself my first love bracelet for my 30th bday on a whim while walking one of the malls in Vegas, I’m going to wear this and if I ever have a daughter, I will gift this to her and let her know I thought of her when I got this at 30 with not knowing if I would ever have a daughter.
What a beautiful story. I definitely plan on giving my Cartier jewelry to my daughter as well. Right now she isn't into gold, so we'll see.
