I love to read all of your replies!!!! I do tend to forget about wearing many of my older LV's. I went on a buying spree over many years and purchased many Monogram and Damier patterns. Now I mostly wear the epi noir LV's that I have that are probably at least 10 years old. I wear the Alma PM-epi noir, Alma BB epi noir and the Brea MM epi noir. The reason is- I mostly wear silver jewelry and like to match the color of the metals with my jewelry and handbags. Although I love my Mono's and Damier's they sit on a shelf-unworn. I do not see any new LV's that I like with silver hardware to buy. To-balen.girl-Your Speedy is soooooo beautiful and well cared for!!!!!

My pochette accessories that I purchased in 92. I just sent it in to LV to get repaired. They are mailing it back to me this week.
The bag that started it all…Popincourt from 2007! I can’t remember the last time I used it but it’s still in excellent condition and always bring a smile to my face whenever I look at it. 
I don’t have anything really old, other than my Amazone which is from the early 90s. However, my favourite LV bags are from a number of years ago. My Monogramouflage Speedy from 2008, my Brooklyn PM which I believe is from 2010, my Porte Document Vertical from 2007… in fact pretty much all my bags are from several years ago, and I plan to enjoy them for many years to come. The newer designs generally don’t appeal to me very much (with some exceptions!)

2015 (my pallas wallet on chain and twist mm) even though my first lv bag was purchased in 2007. I sold my old bags with bad patina.
My Louis Vuitton Abbesses. I got it when I was 18 and I’ll turn 37 this summer. I actually purchased it through eLuxury.com which was LVMH’s website for all the brands they owned at the time. Still have the tags and box and stuff!

.One of the bags that i regret selling. I sold it because i got annoyed it cant stand on its own when its on the floor and that lts a bit too high to put under the seat on the plane. I dont know why I sold it that time instead of finding other solutions to the problems 
1976 Speedy 25 in Monogram that my mother bought in Paris. I love this bag, but rarely carry her anymore.
I have my DE Neverfull MM purchased in 2013 and my Speedy 25 B purchased in 2017.
When I first got on eBay back in 2001, I bought a Cartochiere. I had no idea about date codes and such. I wore the bag for a bit and put it away. In 2021, I decided to give it a new life thru New Vintage Handbags And have it adorned with a design. Turns out, this bag is pre-date code era, in other words, at least prior to 1982. Here is a photo of the work they did. They were suggesting a replacement strap in this photo and that is why there are 3 extra (non LV, obviously) straps.
