I honestly don’t think most LV bags go out of style. The vintage bags are the most stylish to me and the most eye-catching. I plan to add a couple to my collection…
I just bought a Tivoil GM at Dillard’s. The canvas is so thick and the bag is in great shape. I’m about to start only shopping vintage.

All my bags but two are classic styles and I do this deliberately because I don't like the cycle of buy-sell-buy-sell. When I buy, it's with the intention of being in my collection forever and that I will wear forever even when I'm a little old lady (but I have parted with some bags that no longer fit my style).

Epi Alma bb, Noe bb, Speedy, Pochette metis, st Germain bb, Neverfull are the bags I consider my classics that will never go out of style.

My two non-classics are my Turenne pm and odeon pm. I definitely don't wear my Turenne anymore and haven't in a long time. It feels really dated when wearing it. It's sentimental though so it will be staying in my collection for now. I adore my odeon and will continue to wear it for as long as I love it regardless of current trends.

I hate that cycle as well. I think it’s mentally draining. One lesson I learned….the LE collections with the prints - for me an SLG is a better choice. I have the black wild at heart Neverfull and it hurts my head.

I am similar and want my bags to stay forever and that I can still use them in 20 years or so. Especially with designer bags I wouldn‘t like to buy and sell and buy and sell. I think about every new bag back and forth if it’s a forever bag for me or not.
In my opinion the Turenne is more on the classic side and doesn’t look dated to me. I don’t have a Turenne but I really like that it’s a timeless style.

You're the 1st person who I've read has bought pre-loved LV at Dillards. How did you find the pricing and condition of the bag ? Did they offer any sort of warranty and authentication ? I have found them to be pricier than other sites.

The bag was absolutely pristine. Very light patina. $2100, which may be high, but the condition….. I will admit it was an impulsive vacation purchase. Their bags come from What Goes Around Comes Around in NY. It had a certificate of authenticity. Dillard’s itself says it’s final sale but I was ok with that because the real beef with authenticity would be with WGACA since they authenticated it.

We have preloved bags at Von Maur, also from What Goes Around Comes Around. I bought a couple of things from them. I have found the prices to be high, as well, but the bags are usually in excellent condition and it's nice to be able to see them, try them on and smell them! Lol!

Agree! I’ve since looked at WGA website and they are definitely high. They have final sale items as well but their return policy is 7 days.

I love my Turenne PM and still wear it! But I have old non-classic speedies aquarelle and Steven sprouse and they are my eye candy sitting on the shelf
