Two in each ear. I always have small diamond studs in the second hole and for the most part either pearl or diamond studs in the front. I had my cartilage pierced when I was 12, but a hairdresser (my usual one was away) ripped it out with a comb. Luckily the earring just came out, but I let it close up.

3 times on both lobes - but I usually only wear earrings in my lowest set (if I wear earrings at all). I also have one cartiledge done with a small hoop and my tragus done with a small ball. :)

1 per ear...I just got the courage to get the pierced last September after like 10 years of wanting pierced ears. I wear earrings all the time now because they seem to close up a bit still when I go a couple days without them in.

On my left ear I have 3 on my lobe (1 at 6mm & 1 at 4mm) & 1 on a very strange bit of cartilage that has no name.

On my right ear I have my lobe at 6mm and 2 on my cartilage. Had my anti-tragus until yesterday when it came out & I can't get it back in :(

I have far too much jewellery so I change them all a lot.

Also I have my nose, septum, frowny & my nape.

I could have sworn I had already replied to this thread. Maybe it was a similar one. I found it because I was hoping someone who had their cartilage pierced could answer a question for me. I just got mine done a few days ago and its not red or swollen but it itches. Is that normal??

I have two holes in each ear in my lobe but the first holes aren't even so the second holes look crooked when I wear earrings in both holes. I had wanted a cartilage piercing for a long time but just felt it wasn't me. I decided to stop talking myself out of it and just do it. BTW I'm 41 and the question most people ask is "why"? :p

for me i cant do both ears at the same time.. i cant sleep on my back, i HAVE to sleep sideways. so i pierce them one at a time so it doesnt affect my sleeping position :p

my ears have been pierced and REpierced too many times. but the total is only 6 piercings, 3 on each ear (2 on the lobe, 1 upper cartilage). i use diamond studs for the lobes, and gold bars for the cartilage.

my ears are weird, once i take the earing out they close in a matter of 2 days!! it sucks! so i keep having it pierced again. my original piercing never close though (the one on the bottom lobe), because my parents had them done when i was a year old :p

2 in each except the lower one is pierced a bit high so i can not wear simple dangling earrings because i will have a awkward hump.. i got them done when i was 10 so 12 yrs ago.. i was thinking of letting it heal and redoing it but not sure if that will work out since i heal slowly..
