Hahaha... that's a old speedy with all the vachetta dyed black. Just kinda did it for fun.

Yes, the family has grown since the last photo, but I think I might have Speedy peace now. Or rather, my closet won't allow for any drastic increases. After initially not liking it, I did ask my SA recently if she could get me the blue Speedy Race. We'll see, although I'm not holding my breath.

I saw your family photo too, Blingthang. Great collection! You have so many that I don't.

Btw, do you know what's wrong with the Purse Forum iPhone app? I can't seem to get anything to load there anymore.

Nothing so glamorous, I'm afraid. THey're stored stuffed, in their labelled dustbags in my closet. Each shelf has 2 rows of bags. This photo is only of LVs, & there are a few more shelves with mixed brands. But ya, I wonder how receptive my husband will be to having a whole room just for bags. View attachment 3584195

What beautiful collections many of you have. I own only the speedy b 25 damier and was wondering if getting the same bag in mono might be too much, but obviously it wouldn't be. I recently sold my mono in 30 as it was too big for me to use crossbody. Felt like a piece of luggage and I hardly even fill the 25. Love seeing everyone's collection. THX

What can I say, I admit I'm an addict. Nope, there are other bags as well. I think though I'm a lot more discerning with other bags & other brands, but somehow with the Speedy, I can't seem to resist the urge to add a new one to the collection. Having said that, I did resist the World Tour Speedy, so maybe there's hope yet.

Never a truer word was spoken!! I popped into the store on my way back from the dentist yesterday & succumbed to the new Speedy 25 Bandouliere in epi noir. It is gorgeous though! I will post a photo of it soon.

I agree with you, with the cross body I go for the 25 size. But if it's handheld, I tend to go for the 30 size. The 25 just fits better against the body.

Yes, I did it myself using Feibing's leather dye. The piping was the toughest part to dye, but all in all, it was a fun job. Here are some close-ups.

Looks really great..I wish LV would do the same.. and also black leather on the alma ( without anything else printed or studded on the alma) I just would like to have a simply iconic monogram bag (alma speedy) with black leather ..I hope they will do that in the future
