Speedy owners I need your help. I am fairly new on this site and I don't know why I am not able to post my own thread but I wanted to reached out to you and see if ya can help a sister out.
I just purchased my Speedy B 30 in the Damier Ebene 2 days ago. I have not used the bag yet. Waiting for the ceases to go away first. Today I was admiring the bag and noticed that on the bottom of the handles where the arches are, its a different finish to the leather than the top. The texture of the handle on the bottom is different. Its rough. It looked as if its bubbled or wrinkled. I dont know how to describe it. Sorry. I will attached pics. Can you please tell me if your speedy are like this? I've owned other LV bags (Pallas chain, Alma, Delightful) and has not seen this. I just worried down the road it might have problems from holding on the handles.
I don't know if its just me if i have back luck bad or what but i have a few bags that LV replaced because of defects. My Doc PM I purchased in May, the glazing was peeling so LV gave me a store credit in which i used for this speedy. They told me it was final sale. No exchanges. Im not sure if they will exchange this bag for a new one. They were not very nice at all last wk when I went in to tell them about the glazing starting to peel off on the Doc PM. They tried to blame it on me. I'e only used that bag 4 times for a few hrs at a time. And then stored it nicely back in the dust bag. Was waiting to use it this fall but it had problems. Is it just me that have really poor services or do you guys experience this too?
