I can relate to the way you put this... I seem to be in the minority here in that I have a limit on how many bags I want at an given time and that's around 7 or 8. I guess I'm "lucky" like that too, bec. I also would only want to get a bag I love and that I find classic so if I don't love it I won't go for it, thus keeping my bag count low and my wallet full, lol. But it's not like when I get my 8th bag I'd NEVER get another LV, I would just sell one of the 8 that I'm neglecting bec. I'm sure there would be one at that point. And then I'd still have my magic number that I can handle, lol.

As far as Louis Vuitton handbags I have two.

A speedy I purchased in 1990; which I still have (still in great condition) and a Onatah (White) that I just purchased in June of this year.

Nothing grabbed my attention until this year when I saw the Onatah and I didn't have to debat whether to get it or not. Just grabbed it and stated I'll take it!!! Never thought twice about it and been carrying her every since.

I have 18 LV's and am at my limit... it would be so sad to sell one to get something else,,, grrr:cursing: But, I guess accessories will be okay. I'm not buying anything right now, cause house has top priority and getting back to the south pacific.

I would like another wallet though....:rolleyes:

I really wish I was like this, I really do:yes:, but, I'm not cause I can't stand the thought of giving one up, because what if I could never get it again:rolleyes::nogood:

I would only give up and sell what I'm totally over and done with owning. I've been down this road many times of selling bags that I like but no longer use. I think back on them with fondness but I have other bags now that I enjoy even more. Only two bags stand out to me although I don't miss them I like to think about them bec. they were special and more luxurious then I could really afford. One was a rare Fendi bag, it was a small yellow tote that had this hard to explain hologram type outside and the inside was this easter egg yellow satin, it was so luxurious and I felt it was just too fancy for me, and the other was a huge gucci monogram tote w/ apricot leather trim and the boot and bag charm hanging off of it, it's called the charm's tote and the inside was this beautiful purple, the orange and purple contrast was special.

I am in awe of you ladies with such extensive collections, seems so amazing to have SO MANY bags, wowza! Do you have all your bags in one group shot that I can see them? It's so breathtaking to see that many LV's together. I love seeing those pics, like Carman's and Rebecca's and Raquel's all those mono bags on her bed, lol. Lead me to the thread, I want to drool!

I guess I dont really have a concrete "limit" but once I have too many, Ill know. Im only 17 and started being interested in and researching LV almost 1 year ago; purchased a Mono Cles in Dec 06 and my first bag (Mono Pap 26) in Jan 07. I just purchased my 2nd bag yesterday (Mono Speedy 25) 8 months later, so I guess I just get bags I want when I have the $$ and feel like it. I agree with what some others said about having a bag to satisfy all your needs, but it seems that I have so many "different" needs; 1 everyday throw around, 1 everyday for winter (damier), 1 going out bag (pochette), one shoulder/school tote (neverfull),.......my so-called needs go on & on:rolleyes:

It's high time I do a complete group shot, but am so lazy, not lazy just exhausted after work... will put it on the to do list, cause my favorite thing to do besides love on my animals when I come home is to love on my bags!

I have seven LV bags. I am in the process of selling one, which may or may not be replaced by the Mirage Speedy. But that's it for me; I am not in a position to collect dozens of Louis Vuitton bags, unfortunately.

I have about 11 bags. I don't own any LV accesories or wallet. I own a lot of Coach wallets/accesories though. I think 11 LVs would be enough for me, I'm busy rotating my bags every week....LOL!

yup 9!!! lol and there's at least 17 accessories likes scarves, shoes, small leather goods...etc.
and no, I"m not gonna stop... that's crazy talk! I'm very much tempted by small accessories these days but I gotta stay strong to get the next :choochoo:bag I want lol, however I'm willing to sacrifice the next, next bag (ML croisette Marina PM) for some shoes :drool:
