how many LV bags do you own...what is your limit?

I bought my first LV in 2004 (Pochette Cite) and I sell frequently to keep my collection manageable and fund new purchases. Current collection:

Shoulder Bags:
1. Petit Noe Epi Black
2. Neonoe Monogram Bleu Jean

Pochettes Old Model:

2. Damier Ebene
3. Damier Azur

5. Epi Grenade

I tend to travel light and use my pochettes frequently, on their own or inside a larger bag for work/travel. I think I’m all set in that category and would limit myself to 4 shoulder bags.

I only have the Pochette Métis in monogram right now. However, I think once I get the Noe Bb in monogram or damier azur (both are so pretty), speedy 20, and Boite Chapeau souple mm, I will be at purse peace with LV. I don’t love many of the new pieces that LV has been coming out with lately. They feel really flashy and almost too trendy. I love the older styles inspired by their heritage the most.

At the moment I own 6 LV, 2 Chanel and 1 DKNY tote bag which I never use + 6 LV Slg’s / 1 Gucci card holder.
i think of adding 2 more handbags (+1 Chanel cardholder) in a near future and I should be in a handbag peace.

Neat thread topic and I would love to contribute but tbh it would just be too hard. I love seeing everyone’s collection though! I just don’t know model names or colors of most of my bags to be able to list them in detail and too lazy to research. To give you an idea, my first speedy was referred to as pm/mm/gm back in the day. Frankly I never even bothered to ask what model names were. I remember seeing the green mini lin in store with its matching slg liked it, bought it and used it same day didn’t even bother with packaging. I threw away all those little cards. Now I wish I had a box but back in the day shopping habits were very different. I don’t set hard limits because there could be collections that just don’t jive with your aesthetic. Years could go by with nothing and all of a sudden, you see a line or single piece that stops your heart.

I have 9 LV bags (mostly classics) and 11 SLGs but I am planning on letting some of them go. I just can´t justify having so many bags and SLGs that I hardly ever use .
