How long should you wear your engagement ring?

i wear it all the time. i do wear a plain 18k band when i feel the diamond ring may get damaged at certain times tho.

I've been married 7 years and I wear my e-ring as often as possible, though I often have to take my rings off at work (if I do, I hang them on my necklace so I don't lose them). I wear my wedding band all the time

I wore my engagement ring constantly until I got busy with babies and stuff Now it depends on how I feel, it's either on with the anniversary band, or it's off. I've got my Tiffany wedding band put away - only because my other rings went thru different settings and are all WG, the Tiffany is YG.

I trade around. Sometimes within the same day I will wear both in the morning, then neither or just one in the afternoon. Some days I wear no rings. It depends....on weather, fashion, how I'm feeling, where I'm going...

I take my e-ring off for bed, in the shower or for activities where it might get knocked about. Other than that, I wear it the rest of the time. It's something to enjoy...married 12 years.

I just got married so I'll wear it everyday. But I can see that when I have kids I wouldn't wear it in the beginning so I don't scratch the baby. That's probably the only time.
