How long did it take you to get used to wearing a watch?

Watch is not to tell time, it's a piece of accessory that you can also use to tell time if you want to.
Having said that, I think if you're wearing it for 2-3 weeks daily, you should get used to it by then. It would be much easier to get used to if the watch is a really nice one though, haha...

I've been wearing a watch forever - I hate it when I forget to wear one even though I know I can easily look at my phone if I need to know the time -- I have a well loved Tag that's my favorite watch ever! I also wear my watch on the "wrong" wrist -- I'm a righty and wear my watch on my right wrist - no idea why but as a kid I did do some things left handed and I've always worn my watch on that hand.

I know this is an old thread but I’m struggling with watch wear. Mr. Sparkle is a huge watch fan and has been wanting me to get a “nice” watch for ages. (I have an old Citizen that I bought years ago and threw in a drawer shortly after. Lol!)

Anyway, in anticipation of the gift he wants to give me, I’ve been wearing the Citizen and...I hate it. It feels like a shackle. My bracelets don’t bother me because they float on my wrist. A watch has to fit.

Has anyone else just given up on the idea that they can be a “watch person”?

I’m a lefty and wear my watch on my left wrist, always have, would feel incredibly weird to wear it on my right. I have had periods when I have gone without wearing one at all but didn’t like relying on my cell phone to tell the time. Also, there are occasions (like job interviews!) where you can’t physically check your cell phone without being rude, so it’s handy to have the watch on to glance at.

I didn’t used to think I was a watch person, but since getting my Cartier Panthere I wouldn’t be without it
