I love my bags. I have several LV's and carry them proudly. My issue is.....I just bought a super cute Tiffany tote the leather one not suede one and I worry people might think it's a cheap not quality bag. Why do I care? How can I carry the gorgeous bag without any obvious branding with the same pleasure I have with my LV's. Yes, I know this is the lamest, weakest character flaw

Just remember that people will think whatever they want to think. You have no control over it. If you truly love the bag that's all that matters. Personally, I prefer to fly under the radar a little. It's nice to be incognito sometimes. Enjoy your new bag! Those Tiffany totes are gorgeous!

Simply let the quality of the leather and details speak for themselves.

Carrying the right bag is essential as it empowers me and make me feel assertive.

A lady should never feel guilty because she is carrying an expensive purse the fact that you own one should inspire others to do more and aim high. After all why settle for less we all here for a good time not a long time.

happy & excited! though i hope no one notices my bags, i also feel a little self conscious carrying designer bags.

Same here! I feel so happy and excited just by looking at a pretty well made bag. But I also feel very self conscious carrying desinger bags especially I'm pretty young and still in college :( I have a feeling people think I'm a spoiled brat, but I worked hard and saved up for most of my bags.

My bags make me happy and proud when using it (or them). Because to get my dream bag, I should save a lot of money first. Maybe not everyone can have the opportunity to use the authentic designer bag, so I feel proud and lucky to have and use it. I treat mine like a baby and always aware for any dust, water, and etc that can ruin my bags :roflmfao: Maybe for some people "it just a bag, so what's the big deal?"... but for me "it's a big deal because it's my bag and my precious one" :p
Totally agreed :)
I feel the same about my bags too.

Happy. What else? My bags are not my status symbols telling people how rich or not rich I am. I buy because I love them. They tell the public what personality I am. They speak for me.

Dare I say... comfort.

I feel at ease knowing I have everything I think I need in a bag that is also appeasing to the eye.... When I have my handbag with me it feels like a treasure chest of goodies... How weird is that... Additionally, how strange is it that I'll catch my husband going thru my handbags just to see what is in them... Apparently he used to do that with his mothers bags.. The downside is he takes my change for the car wash and if he finds candy it is totally going in his pocket.

Perhaps I have attachment issues... :-)

This. :smile1:

I carried my Chloe Alice to work on Friday and my secretary frantically wanted to know what bag it was. I just told her it is an old bag. :p My bags are not for showing off.

I think that perhaps it is your DH who has the issues :D

Put together! I feel like a nice bag just completes an outfit and can make something simple feel a little more glamorous.
Also..prepared (?) I like toting all my essentials (and some non-essentials) around with me when I'm out for the day. Makeup, hairbrush, cell phone, etc.

I feel pampered. :smile1: My bags are my special way of taking care of myself. They are my one indulgence, purchased with my own hard-earned money, and whenever I carry one, I feel like I've done something special for myself.

I spend 95% of my life taking care of others - my kids, husband, parents, siblings, clients, even my friends - so this is an indulgence that is just for ME. I love looking down at my bag and getting a little jolt of happy every time. :smile1:
