How do you wear your diamond studs?

Do you wear them like this? Or do you wear them closer to the ear? I bought plastic backings on line to wear them closer to the ear, but like them dangling down too.

closer. I didn't even know you can wear them dangling. I thought that it dangles bc they pierced their ears in the wrong place.
do see your stud earrings in the mirror when you wear yours? I can't see them well in frontal view. I don't know if my studs are too small or bc my ears were pierced too close to my face.

I can't really see them unless my hair is short. My ear lobes are small and set back...too funny.

It's funny but I think in the 10 years I've been setting/making diamond studs I've maybe made 3 pairs with the drop right under the ear and we are talking several hundred pairs of earrings. If people are going to do drops they usually do something like this:
