How do you store your RMs?

bump, need some organization ideas. I moved them from the top of my closet which was becoming avalanche friendly to the ground area, but it is so disorganized and I don't have space for a shelf.

I love winston, I usually don't like persians, but he's soo cute and with the best eyes!

I'm thinking of the closet maid 9 cube shelf from target, but I don't have space to put one bag per cubby, so I might cram like 2 or 3 unstuffed ones. Will that work Magjes? None of the bags that I have are sensitive to permanent creasing so i don't know if they need to be stuffed... at least I think so.

So since my beloved bf had his mother visiting him for the past two weeks I decided to do a complete revamp of my room. So here was my RMs before on the upper shelf of my cluttered closet. I always stored them unstuffed, b/c of room and I never saw a problem with creasing in any of my bags. Yet, it always avalanched when I tried to grab something from the bottom stack since I am so short, it was pretty inefficient.... basically a huge fail.

I completely remade my closet and color coded all my clothes, and moved the bags down to the floor where it was easier to access for me. It felt SOOO much better, you can't tell from these pictures, but trust me its 1000% better

But the problem was that on the shelf there was more room horizontally so the bags weren't stacked that high, but on the ground, the there was room vertically but not horizontally so more bags were stacked on top of each other. It was heavy and now I was worried about some permanent creasing due to the heavy weight of bags on top of each other, I mean it's basically a whole cow's worth of leather in there.

So I bought the 9 cube organizer that Fleurine has b/c that's all that would fit in my closet. (Target has it on sale this week)

So, although it looks messy (excuse the hamper and the clothes hanging in the closet) it's even better. The bags are happier, its organized, and I know where each bag is just by organization. Matties with matties, Nikkis with Nikkis, MAMs w/ MAMs.

Since I love love clutches (although MACs don't really work on me ironically), I put all my clutches/wallets/small leathers in the two pull out linen drawers.

So sorry no full collection today guys. I wanted to... all the bags were out, but I have an early day tomorrow!! <3

^^^Hey pamperz~ Glad you solved the "avalanche problem"...I was having the exact same problem, because even though I had shelves for most of my MAB, there was still a little pyramid of them on the top that would fall if I pulled one from the bottom. But it was Target to the rescue yet again...I put up another set of 9 cubbie holes for the avalanche bags. Will post pics later.

hahaha, ideally we would only limit our number of bags to how much shelving we bought... but that's not possible is it?

can't wait to see your new storage system. My that's 27 bags worth? I think you need a ladder then sista!

I have exactly 27 MABs (one is technically an MAB luxe...do I count that one?) which is the exact # of shelves that I have - BUT I have the SW black MAB on the way, so she'll be an outlier. I still may need to bump up to 36 cubbies, though, for clutches & mini b's (which would make a perfect 6x6 square) >>> I also have a taupe mini b on the way too.

Let me just say that there are 2 things I am very grateful for...(1) I'm not into any new RM styles and (2) I never caught the Bal bug.

PS Cute heels in your closet, BTW.

You and me both!!

I was SUPER bored the other day (or should I say procrastinating studying for my final set of law school finals ever! ha), so I snapped some pics of my closet. It's not big or anything, but I was lucky b/c these shelves were here before my hubby and I moved in (it's a rental). Of course, I took over the master bedroom closet immediately! :p

I bought these shelves at Wal-Mart and they let me take advantage of all that room under my clothes:
