hey ladies and gents if this thread already exist then they can remove it. I'm just watching YouTube videos and many of them who collect handbag specially high end designers they are calling out the MK bags and etc. Tacky and ugly that they would never carry or purchased them. I have a small collection of MK bags but I'm more into there flats shoes I think for the price definetly a good buy and very cute and comfortable. I purchased my first handbag 4 years ago the Hamilton Satchel in pebbled leather and I enjoy it so much that I purchased the luggage color. And since I wanted to try the Saffiano leather"get out of my comfort zone" I went and bought the small sutton, I never think it's tacky or ugly any of my MK bags I'm proud to carry anything and I think as long you are confident and happy about it. Do you think it's more Discrimination or Status symbol for somebody? Any opinion is welcome❤️TIA

Tbh, I work for a high end designer brand, we don't sell bags admittedly, but it's possibly the most miserable brand I've ever worked for. "High End" is largely a v.clever marketing illusion.
MK bags are beautiful designs and colours, at a price many middle-class ladies can afford. I carry my MK bags with pride, love them.

"Designer" is all relative really.
No shopping experience had made me happier so far this year than the 3 visits to MK in Berlin I made in the space of 4 days, when I brought Blush Selma. Her feet are now well scratched up but the rest of her looks brand new. This is the sign of being well loved
And this forum makes it even more fun! We do seriously have one of the most fun and friendly forums on TPF!
I don't care what anyone thinks, either. I carry what i want, when I want to. I'm sorry, but I'd much rather pay $300 for three real leather MK bags than upwards of $1000 for one canvas LV bag (just one example). People will always judge, but that's their problem, not mine

Agreed! I've spent a lot of money on other bags in the past and I don't have a problem with people who do. I love MKs for the quality, styles, colors, and price point. I think anyone can spend their money however they want, so long as we all don't judge each other we should all be able to enjoy what we want and what we wear...we're the ones using them anyway so it shouldn't matter what others think. I would hate to live my life according to other people's opinions!
It's all relative really. People with a lot of money can buy a huge house and drive cheaper cars. Or vice versa. If everyone were to agree on everything, this world would be boring!

There really is something for everyone with MK. Saffiano, soft leather, chains, different HW, beautiful colours, its a melting pot!
I agree with everything that has already been said here. It angers me that people think it is ok to judge someone on their bag choice. It's not ok, I'm the same person I was two years ago and had the same money then but never bothered what bag I had. I had Radley (a good quality UK brand and people made fun of me for them), as well as a few Guess bags. I was the same person then (but my money went into a new house and wedding) and if I bought a LV bag, I'm still the same person. What gives one person the right to judge someone on their bag choice. I love the quality and choice MK has to offer and there is always something to suit my style. At the end of the day money and purchases mean nothing, it's how we live our lives and treat others around us that's important. I would rather be happy than look at what bag people carry. There is too much sadness in the will to worry about what bag we carry anyway rant over.....
Yes I agree whether you spend $1000.00 to $300.00 at the end of the day bag is a bag it doesn't make us a better person. And actually kudos for other people who carry luxury from head to toe but if they start judging then it's not ok at all. That said they are the tacky and ugly❤️
Uhg...that's why I love my biker friends! ( speaking of tacky and ugly) LMAO! But seriously, they could care less what you wear or how much it cost, but you better be riding a Harley! lol!
Talk about getting JUDGED! Us 'scooter trash' ( bikers) get criticized everywhere we go! Many people think we're bums. There are even 'motorcycle check points' to pull us over and harass us! That's illegal search and seizure and is against the Constitution! Many of us are doctors and lawyers , for heaven's sakes!
Little do they know that Harley cost 40,000.00 and that's not including the 6,000.00 custom paint job and the extra chrome we put on them. We're walking around with expensive leathers on. Our Harley Tshirts are 65 bucks a piece! The good thing about it though, is the opinionated snobs, keep their opinions to themselves , because they know what can and will happen if they say something wrong! lol! So we don't have to worry too much about any of that. It's all behind our backs and we're having too much fun to care. lol! Like all of you said so eloquently...WHO CARES??

That being said, there are soo many other, simple and classy designs at MK to choose from!
And the best part about MK: I feel that more people can afford it due to their sales, etc. So I am seeing more people carry MK = designer bags which warms my heart! It makes me sick seeing people carry fake bags, I honestly hate that! So thanks to MK, more people can afford a real brand! And thus, they will be less tempted to buy an imitation.

Personally, a purse is a luxury of any brand... i see purses all the time that are literately 20$ from sears or clothing department stores, there is a thread on the Coach forum on whether it's a luxury brand well that of coarse will be a matter of opinion but considering they don't sell for 20$ generally then yes to some they are!
In the real world most don't pay hundreds or thousands for bags, this place is a gathering zone for those that do, which is of great fun but i will admit i dislike the arrogant attitude that a brand is beneath someone, excuse me? some people struggle to feed their kids so that only fill in the brand purse is definitely not a necessity.
Of coarse we all have our favorites and dislike certain styles or brands which is fine but trying to make others feel badly over their purse brand choices simply says more about the insulter than the brand of purse of the other ever could.
