How did you afford your Cartier Love pieces?

Honestly I think the issue is magnified because we are on the forum kwim. I think honestly it will be fine. I have the old screw system though
I literally got mine 2 weeks ago it hasn’t fallen out. I think the screw system is better now..

I am more toward something that I can take off quickly if needed! I am a very impatient person, I am just afraid this whole screw system will drive me nuts! And I don’t have my funds yet

I am now thinking not to get the love bracelet, because after reading all the issues with screw coming off I think that would drive me nuts :biggrin: I know Cartier has great Customer Service, but still I just dont wanna have that issue. But I might get the interlocking bracelet.
If the crews are the only thing that bothers you, you can also get the love bangle. It looks the same, is easy to put on and get off once you get the hang of it, no screws and costs a bit less.

I think this "unable to take it off" would drive me nuts because I always would have this in my mind   . I will go to the store and try the interlocking bracelet and the cuff.

I bought my first Cartier piece very recently. Thankfully the small love bracelet looked much better on my tiny wrist than the regular and it’s significantly more affordable than the regular size. So that helped! i Purchased it for myself with part of my annual bonus after a year of working my ass off. i justified the purchase on so many levels including - cost per wear will be next to nothing because I’m going to wear it every day foreverrrrrrr AND it’s a great reminder every time I look at it that im basically a total badass who earned enough money to buy my own expensive jewelry. Now I’ll be adding to my Cartier collection every year when I get my bonus! Yes it’s an expensive piece but you’ll love it for years and years to come.

I’ve been working for more years than I care to admit in a field where I get a bonus each year. My very first bonus at my very first job wasn’t a ton (in retrospect) but I dragged a friend to go with me to Cartier 5th Ave and bought the Trinity ring classic (like woah! I can get Cartier!) and I love it to this day even though my work/title/pay is significantly more. Have bought a few more pieces here and there but it does remind me of my hard work thru the years every time I pull it out and look at it, and how far I’ve come!

My income can swing high and low because I am self-employed. I'm grateful that most years have been decent, but man, those low years HURT! Thankfully, my husband is successful and has stable employment with benefits for us.

Some years I buy smaller pieces but this year we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and it coincided with a good year for my business, so we felt comfortable spending more. I love my bracelet so much even if the diamonds are smaller.

I think next for me jewelry-wise will be a tennis bracelet or a delicate tennis necklace, but then I will be back on the Cartier train.

Which bracelet are you referring to?
