Hi ladies, I’d like some help- I’m thinking of getting a halzan and can not decide between a mini or a large. Any thoughts? Also what’s the durability of the leathers. I’m not familiar with swift or clemence. I have only a Birkin in Togo and that is just so durable! Any feedback or concerns on colour transfer, I’m thinking I’d wear it mostly long off the shoulder. Thanks in advance

Mini is not an everyday size for me, unless I'm sightseeing or traveling without much stuff. I usually carry it to events and out at night. I can't load it with my full-size wallet, sunglasses, wet wipes, etc. It's an alternative to Chanel mini, for example, but not an everyday bag if you carry alot.

Sue-Sue, Beton is a very elegant color, very delicate, and feminine IMO, and I like etain, with the contrast stitching it reminds me of etoupe. Did you speak with your SA about the color transfer ? I know that our dear @lanit owns a beautiful beton roulis. Maybe she could tell you if it's easy to manage ?
Hi there Halzan lovers. Regarding beton for a Halzan, while I have an Evercolor mini roulis, it is an occasional use bag, and i am careful to wear it with longer white shirts or light colored jackets if carryong on the shoulder. My regular size everyday Halzan is barenia. I think most Halzans are clemence, swift or Barenia. So far there has been no color transfer on my mini roulis. I can’t speak about clemence, but if you handle it in thn store and you notice it does attract dirt or handling marks, it would be a no brainer to go with etain imo. Just remember too that Halzan is a cross body, everday type of bag that you sling around a bit and that might help you decide on the color choice. Hope that helps.

If it's your 1st one then I would go for 31. I love the pretty colors of the mini but it's just too small. It's fits like Chanel mini. Small wallet, phone & key etc. That's about it. Even 31 is not a full size bag, more of a cross body bag. Remember that the compartment is a lot narrower. It's a perfect weekend & travel bag though. 31 only comes in either clemence or barenia so far. More likely you will get the clemence one if you choose 31. You won't regret getting a Halzan!

Hi fellow Halzan experts, I have been offered a Halzan 31 in Benton or Etain in Clemence leather. I love the Benton better because there is no contrast stitching and color is quite unique . But concerned about color transfer . Which one would you choose ?

Etain! That was my 1st Halzan & I used it nonstop. I don't really like contrast stitching either but it doesn't bother me on Halzan for some reason.

I was trying on both and was difficult to decide !! My SA was saying that my inclination was towards beton as I kept looking at it when comparing both. I did have a soft spot for the Beton admittedly. Incidentally, one of my only two light colored bags was in total loss due to burns from a leaked dehumidifier packet on Sunday!! Seems like it’s a calling for a light bag. Have yet to decide . SA was nice enough to give me till Friday to think! It’s kinda surprising that he could put the bags aside for so long . The two bags came in early last week and were still available.

Thank you very much Lanit, you confirm what we think for the color transfer. Your mini roulis is so gorgeous, but as you say, we have to be careful with light bags.

Indeed !! Can’t afford to make the bag an
every day bag if it’s in Beton!
Sue-sue, if you really love the beton, you must go with your heart. I wear a lot of white and greys all year round. Most of my bags are darker neutrals so the beton is super special for me and I enjoy carrying it. You may have other darker neutrals already so perhaps it really suits your collection. For travel and work though, i am hard on my bags since I commute and go to a lot of meetings as well. We hope to see your decision!

Thanks ladies for your reply. It will be my first halzan so am keen to make the most out of it. if the mini is similar to a Chanel mini then i doubt I will make much use out of it. Going to try track one down in the stores. Ideally looking for an etoupe @WellTakenCareOf love your halzan!!!!

Does anyone have Trench? I'm looking at the mini in Trench and may get the 31 in Orange. My black mini is so versatile. These are addictive!
I've not, but own a pico in trench (clemence, not swift). Find this color to be a perfect neutral, very chic. And yes, Halzan are addictive, I'm waiting for my mini, and hope to add a second 31 one day. Orange 31 has contrast stitching or not ? I'd love an orange one, juicy, and Happy.

I have a Craie Halzan in clemence and haven't experienced any issues, but I am a very monochromatic dresser so I carry it when I am wearing something in the white/ beige/ grey spectrum. When wearing dark colors/ jeans, I generally carry a dark bag. Beton is a lovely neutral, but so is Etain- they are both gorgeous!
