Your Barenia Halzan is TDF! It will go so well with a lot of occasions (including a garden party!) and is so classic. Just love the design and multiple "personalities" of the Halzan. Congratulations on all your goodies!!

Loving the pics of the Halzan and I am considering to get one. But I have 2 quick questions.
Are the pockets on the outside front and back of the bag lined in leather or are they unlined?
Also how do you all feel about this bag on a guy...I would love to get one in a neutral grey toned color...probably etoupe or etain?
I was considering getting a Berline but...for some reason I find the design of the Halzan to be much more appealing than the Berline. Which do y'all prefer?

I really like this bag on a guy, especially in large size clemence in a not too bright colour ( opinion of a conservative woman). It has definitely a more unisex vibe, with the etrivier buckle it is easy to combine with an etrivier buckle belt. Very chic. A wider strap option is better for a guy, but it works well as a clutch and with the long strap option should also be ok for a guy. I cannot compare with the Berliner since I don't have one.

I've had my Halzan for newly a year now. But this is only the first time I've tested it for travel. It worked out great! I used the shoulder length while wearing dresses and lengthened it to a crossbody when in jeans. I ditched the strap to wear as a clutch to dinner. I can't believe how well the Halzan transitions from my beach vacation in Puerto Rico to museum hopping in NYC. Even though my Halzan is white, I didn't have any problems with color transfer. (

Gorgeous bag, stunning photos...you look beautiful Jane K! I've had my Halzan for a little over a year now, and it's my favorite H bag. I also use it to travel and find it the perfect travel companion. Such a user-friendly bag!
