Is this what they call a trailer home?
A house on wheels so they can haul azz when they haven't paid their lot rent in the trailer park.
It is more appropriately called a mobile home. Around here a trailer home is like a fifth wheel--------- it can be hitched to a regular vehicle and towed. It takes a special vehicle to move a single wide. They are mobile only in the sense that they are not attached to a regular foundation like a constructed home
About the same size. Although the closet might be bigger in a trailer.
Studios are around 400 to 550 and one beds 600 to 800 (some large one beds are around 900).
But isn't there some crazy math formula that you have to met in order to qualify for an apartment in NYC?
I had to look this up. Mobile homes are bigger than both. Singlewide homes range from 600 square feet up to 1,330 square feet. Doublewide's range from around 1,067 square feet and go up to 2,300 square feet.
I don't think they ever lived in a trailer, did they? When the show first started they were living in a house by the train tracks. I don't look down on people who live in trailers though. Apparently they are more spacious than a lot of apartments so what's wrong with that?
