Honestly... Speedy B 30

Always! I’ve been buying Lv for 10 years now but last year was the first time I bought the speedy 30 because it came with straps!

I think you maybe able to get away with a speedy 25 without straps

I always have the strap on, and would not have bought the regular Speedy because I need the option to wear it cross body or at least put it on my shoulder. Even when I carry it by the handles, I just loop the strap into my hands with the handles and carry it that way. I carried it without the strap the first couple of times when the bag was new, and that was honestly only because I was too lazy to put the strap together and put it on.

I always wear it cross-body. I prefer bags thats can be worn multiple-ways rather than just 1-way. I think that it is the best thing that ever happened to handbags now. I feel like its a smarter move/investment - because at some point in the future - you might change your mind/preference and will want to be more flexible.

I like the option of cross body. So useful when travel and shopping.

I wear both of mine only with the shoulder strap. I’ve never honestly used either bag cross body because I don’t like how the end of the strap sticks out and it looks awkward.

I haven't used it without the strap! I have mine since a year. The strap was the best decision!

I have a DE Speedy B 35 for a couple of years and I wear mine crossbody. It's always good to have the option to have the strap. You don't have to use the strap as crossbody. If you take one section out, it can become a shoulder bag. It's one bag with 3 ways to wear.

Strap strap strap. In January I was debating to save the money and skip the strap but my husband wisely said”if you’re go big and spend the money do it right”. So I followed hia advice and I am glad I did. Oh my ... that speedy 30 without the strap would drive me nuts. Now, keep in mind that if you wear it crossbody it will stick out quite a bit. You might prefer the 25 but getting in and out the 25 was very annoying to me, when I tried it in the store. I got the 30 b and NO regrets. Best bag ever!!!

I use the strap all of the time. Being hands free is a big deal for me when using my bags. I think the only time I use the actual handles is if I am grabbing it out of the car real quick or looking for something in it. I do love the look of the classic speedy and when I was first on the market to buy I contemplated that because of the look/price point, but knew I needed the strap. Even if you find yourself using crossbody bags even occasionally, I would go with the Speedy B. You can always remove the strap if you need to.

I love the look of a Speedy carried on the crook of an arm...but only on other people! The Speedy B was my first LV and while I had the cash in hand for the classic Speedy, I realized I would not use it as much w/o a strap. I spent time in the store testing and loved how it looked crossbody so much, plus having the option to adjust to shoulder length? It was obvious. I ended up using Christmas and B'day checks to basically fund the balance for the bandouliere version. I figured it was wiser to have the option to carry it. No regrets.....just happiness.

Yep. What your husband said was the voice in my head. I have the 25 as it was better as crossbody and I have small hands!

I love the Speedy B. I have a mono and DE 30. I think that’s the perfect everyday size- for work and weekends. I still have my classic Speedys and I carry those occasionally -but I’m so used to the strap! It’s hard to go back to hand carry after having the strap option. Like others have said, I don’t use the extender at all and I just let the strap hang if I choose to carry the B on my arm.

I can’t imagine a bag like speedy 30 without strap!!!! Actually I don’t carry bags without straps, and something like Birkin would leave crazy red marks on my arm lol

I had the Speedy B 25 and ended up returning the bag. I really didn't like how the golds on the strap and D rings didn't match, I didn't like the strip of leather down the side and I thought it sits really awkwardly on the body when wearing it cross-body! It wasn't designed as a cross-body and to me this is too obvious. I ended up buying a Neverfull MM which I love. it's all personal preference - I know there are a lot of Speedy B fans around, but that is my two pennies!!
