I'd really like to know about the quality of these bags. Is the leather good? Are they light to carry?

If you can believe this, I saw a Hobo Int'l bag the other day at our local Marshall's in Port Charlotte, on sale, no less. It was a $200 bag for just $59.00. I couldn't believe it. I went back to check on it, and of course, it was gone! I think that was the first Hobo bag I ever saw there.

There was a really good article in the Washington Post not too long ago about how Hobo got started, and how the creator was the original designer behind the late great Georgetown Leather Design stores back in the day. I was familiar with Hobo but had no idea until then that the same woman was the designer behind both operations. No wonder Hobo has such beautiful and original items!

I have a black messenger bag by Hobo and love it. The leather is buttery soft and it is constructed very well. I had a large black tote too but it was stolen.
They have a large messenger hobo out right now that I really like. I'll try to find a pic for you...

I too love the hobo intl. bags. I am obsessed with clutches and they make so many pretty ones in the most beautiful colors. Mine have held up extremely well I look forward to adding to my collection. They are also so reasonably priced.
