These are beautiful color jobs. I love these creative colors I see people sporting. I need to change my industry so I can sport colored ombre hair.

I coloured my hair purple when I had a couple weeks off work. By the time I had to go back to work it had already faded into a nice blonde.

Yeah, still not really feeling it. My favourite looks for this trend are when they go stronger straight out. The colours fade fast anyway - to me Hilary's hair is already photographing as faded.

There's been a trend
On YouTube for awhile now where popular beauty gurus have been coloring their hair purple/blue/silver, and it actually looks really good on some of them. To me, they have the edgy personalities to pull it off. She just looks like a poser to me with this hair. But, meh, better to experiment now and get it out of her system while she's young. These girls are 2 of my faves.

I feel like she just didn't commit to the colour. It was too wishy-washy to begin with.

There are so many pretty examples of it.




She has a great smile though and the lipstick is fab.

I thought I'd never be a fan of blue/purple/pink etc. colored hair but as they say, never say never. These look fantastic. You must have an edgy personality to pull off this look though and I don't, neither does Hilary.

Oh, yeah, I agree. They're makeup artists and their looks are certainly more extreme, and very photoshopped on their IG. In their YT videos, it's a lot more realistic. I was just pointing out that the trend has been going on for sometime now in that community. The color is so pretty on the photo you posted as well. I much prefer the silvery/purple colors to the blues.

I think what's lacking in Hilary's hair is a base colour. She's just dyed it over her blonde. You need to have a depth or a complimentary base to put your contrast colour onto..

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

And it was certainly true of one of Hilary Duff's admirers who came to meet with the star before her appearance on Extra on Tuesday.

While her fan opted for a bold turquoise hue in contrast to Hilary's aquamarine tint, the sentiment was certainly the same.

a grey bodycon style skirt and boxy white T-shirt, completing the look with embellished ankle-strap stilettos.

The mother-of-one happily posed for a snap alongside her new pal who appeared overjoyed to meet the former Lizzy McGuire actress.

Hilary met with host Mario Lopez at the studios in Universal City to chat about her new track Sparks which debuted on Monday.

The song is the latest single from her fifth studio album, due for release this summer.
