aside from roots, i wonder why so many celebs have their hair dyed much darker on top and then way lighter towards the middle/bottom. When i get my hair colored, it's always the opposite...lighter towards the top and framing the face, and darker towards the bottom. Just wondering, that's all.

^ It's just simply a new "trend" in Hollywood right now called the "Ombre" hair. It's meant to prolong trips to your hair stylist and look as if you've just let your summery highlights grow out over time. It's supposed to make you look more youthful as well.

^Normally I can't stand the ombre hair trend, but as bad as my roots are right now I am just going to go with it and tell people I'm rocking the ombre trend... at least until I can make it to my stylist :p

It's funny to me thinking about people paying to have roots lol... just wait several months and you can have them for free!

The only thing I can think of is that it looks "natural"...
I mean, I have long hair that's not dyed and the roots are always a few shades darker than the tips.

Besides that, maybe they think it looks "nonchalant"? As in, "I had highlights a few months ago!"... It has a bed hair-ish appeal to me...

Hilary Duff flashes a smile while leaving Fred Segal after shopping with a friend on Tuesday (January 18) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 23-year-old actress recently dished she and husband Mike Comrie are thinking about starting a family, but not anytime too soon!

“Yeah, I think we’re really excited to have kids,” Hilary told Us Weekly. “And he comes from a big family. [But] I’m only 23, so give me a little bit of time. Come on people!”

As for enjoying their honeymoon phase, Hil shared, “We just still have this really giddy excitement about each other that’s like, ‘Oh we got married! Oh my god! You’re my husband and I’m your wife!’”

i definitely agree that they should wait to have kids. they are already a family. I think spending time learning to be hubby and wife and THEN starting a family could be good for them.

love her sandals.
