The raccoon tail just looks pointless and gross. I don't mind fur coats and hats, but the tail just looks nasty! As does her hair that appears greasy and dirty... she needs to wash it, color it and brush it.

Hilary Duff is all smiles as she leaves Byron & Tracey Salon on Wednesday (September 29) in Los Angeles.

The actress celebrated her 23rd birthday yesterday - happy belated birthday, Hil!

Earlier today, an excerpt from Hilary’s first novel, Elixir, was posted on Simon & Schuster’s website!

Here’s a brief excerpt:

“I couldn’t breathe. Wedged in the middle of an ocean of people, I gasped for air, but nothing came. The heat from a million writhing bodies radiated over me, their sweat weighing down the air. I searched anxiously for an escape, but painfully bright lights strobed on and off, clouding my sense of direction. I was losing it. I was going to pass out.”

She looks good, at least the top half of her hair... I don't get celebs and this two-toned hair. It's like, make up your mind! It just looks like she needs to get her roots done and is long overdue. I could do a better job on my own with a box of $7.99 hair color from CVS.

I don't like it either... but my hair stylist told me that it's a new trend. I think they call is ombre hair or something like that. I'm not a fan either...
