^^LOL are these the only options?

I know everyone has different feelings on what's too young to get married and I agree that it's a to each her own, but I think about what I was like, how much I knew about myself at the age of 22 and now I am 27 and I have done SO much growing in the past 5 years and I just feel like your 20's are such a crucial time for growth and self discovery...why rush marriage? That's just my 2 cents.

I totally agree. If I'd married my SO when I really wanted to (3 yrs ago) I would be so miserable. In those 3 years (I'm now 25) I grew a lot and changed a lot of plans that I had made for myself. I don't even want to get married right now.

I was already w/ my DH at 22, but we had no business getting married. We dated from when I was 20 to 24 and got married. By BFF from HS on the other hand, got pregnant her 11th grade year and married him, they're still married today and it's been 18 yrs!
To each their own!

I've been with my bf for a few years, I'm a year older than Hilary, and marriage is in no way, shape, or form in the cards for right now. I've still got a lot of growing up to do. lol.

I hope her and her bubby make it though; she grew up in Hollywood and she's likely been through and seen a lot.

to each their own really. but you have to realize she's been in the business for a LONG TIME and has experienced much more than the regular non-celebrity folk. so if this is what she wants. then this is what she wants.

I find it funny that others have such a problem with her marrying at 22, i mean since when was that a bad thing? It seems all people want to do is to slate. Marriage will either work our or won't, i don't think age matters. What happened to traditional values? Back in the 40's it was seen as desirable to date a guy, get engaged and then marry young. My mum married my dad when she was 20...it didn't work out but then neither did her second marriage at age 45....whereas i have been married for 5 years now and couldn't be happier, even if things didn't last forever then i would never change things as i have a beautiful baby girl out of it...

I agree.

I just turned 22 today and while marriage definitely isn't for me right now, I've lived a completely different life than her.

But even if she wanted to get married at 16 why do I care? It's her decision.
