Hilary Duff is reportedly planning to marry before October 7.
The singer-and-actress got engaged to ice hockey player Mike Comrie while they were on holiday in Hawaii earlier this year. He popped the question with a $1 million 14-carat ring, and Hilary happily accepted.
It has now been claimed Hilary is keen to wed before Mike’s hockey league starts again later this year. “She’s hoping to hold the nuptials before October 7,” a source said. “Hilary wants to keep the wedding small – but she’s having major trouble cutting down the guest list!”
Hilary and Mike have started looking at locations, and are considering marrying in Santa Barbara, California. They have looked at several venues, and Hilary is certain she has already found her favourite.
“Hilary toured the San Ysidro Ranch and loved it. It’s an incredibly beautiful setting and has a lot of history,” the source added to the National Enquirer.
The ranch is billed as the perfect combination of “natural beauty and romantic heritage”, and Hilary is believed to have told pals she can’t imagine walking down the aisle anywhere else.
