Yes they do file down your teeth first. But you can always get rid of the old veneer and put new ones in. She should put thinner (and shorter) veneers in because the ones she has now are too big for her mouth, that's why her upper lip is protruding. I would never let anyone walk out of my dental office with big veneers like that.

She looks really good in these pics regardless. My daughter loves her.

and yeah I'm sure she can fix her veneers. they do carve the teeth 1st of course but I'm sure they can glue new shorter/thinner ones on instead.
