So far, so good! A darker color for the A/W sounds amazing! I went with the Marine for this one. Can't wait to see what you decide your next one.

I'm toying with the idea of suggesting a mini Cindy (23/25cm) for my next bag, maybe with a shoulder strap and in a fun color. I'm a sucker for a grab and go bag with exterior pockets.

It’s not high-end per se, but I thought I’d update this thread with a new, popular and affordable alternative to the Birkin: the Coach Empire Carryall.

Another option is designing your own bag with all the elements you like (and removing the ones you don’t like), and having a leather artisan craft it for you. I finally did this recently and I now have my dream bag come to life. I don’t need my bags to be from recognizable brands, and I picked out the finest vegetable-tanned leather, solid brass hardware, gave the artisan my drawing and notes, and I now have a one-of-a-kind piece. Highly recommend this experience to anyone!

Actually I just went to my local leather supply shop that will also do ready-made and custom bags and brought a design to them. They are a tad more rustic in style, but I like that. I recommend taking a look at any local resources, or finding someone whose products you like on Etsy, and asking if they do custom work.

Sorry for not being more specific, I try to maintain a certain level of privacy online :flowers:

Of course I totally understand!
There is a local leather worker in my area but he's very new so he basically does wallets at this point.
