I just had this conversation with DH! I have the Baggy GM and we are getting a Speedy for my b-day very possibly early (its in August) before the prices go up Monday. I have a Charlie Lapson bag that is the same shape as the Speedy and I just switched into it to get used to carrying it again-I used it over the winter in Wisconsin with gloves and a bulky coat and it was not a problem at all until I flew down here to buy the house-traveling was a PITA but during my layover in Atlanta I solved that problem by purchasing a folding thing with wheels to pile my luggage on so I could free up my hands a bit.

I converted when I got my speedy and I am a die-hard shoulder strap gal. It's just too cute not to conform to.

I never had a hand-held-bag until I got my black MC Alma not that long ago. I really enjoy carrying her, so I bought my 2nd hand-held-bag (Denim Speedy) a few days ago...

I am partial to hand held bags. They've never stopped me from shopping! Of course, not much does. I tend to carry my bags more on my arm that in my hand though. The only time I have a problem with them is when I try and shop with a coffee. That is a pain in the butt.

I'm more of a shoulder bag person, too, which is one of the reasons it took me so long to buy a Speedy. I usually wear hand bags on my arm, so I have my hands free. But I still prefer shoulder bags when I'm shopping.

Just go the Damier 30. Love the Damier, but not a huge fan of the top handle. Called in for the 25.

Here is the problem.... I am a shoulder bag girl. Do you think I can convert to a handheld? I am afraid that I will get so sick of carrying it around that I will not use it (yes, I'm that lazy ).

I am torn. Does anyone else feel this way?

yes and that is why I got the BH, I love the shoulder handles and use the speedy only when I dont need a shoulder bag, like a long day out shopping. But I love the speedy.
