It is so nerve-wracking to refuse an offer! My SA knows exactly what I want and has said that she will get it for me but is obviously as frustrated by the continued low stock as I am. She offered me a beautiful B35 Fray Fray which happened to work so well with the outfit I was wearing that day and had I already received the bag I wanted I might have said yes…but it simply wasn’t the right first QB. I’m pretty sure she was not offended at all…as @880 noted, it simply helped her get a better sense of my taste. I have my fingers crossed that by being clear and honest about my wishlist, my SA will offer me my dream bag when it becomes available. Good luck @peppermint_tea !

My SA knew right away that I didn't want it and he was not offended at all. He even said that my eyes didn't light up the way they did the last time he offered me a bag (that I ended up taking home). My SA says he just wants me to be happy! Plus, these bags sell themselves; there is no shortage of customers wanting to buy them so they're not really worried about losing that sale. Giving you what you want pays off in the long term because you'll likely want to spend more with them in the future. It's a win-win!

Great thread! I am in a dilemma. I have K28 Togo noir palladium. My SA said I can get my top wish list Etain GHW, the only thing is my wish list is K25, but I am offered K28.

I have very casual life style and carry my 2 Evelyn PMs most of the time and I don’t carry a lot. Please help me decide! Thanks…

Assuming your purchase history is robust, and it’s just a matter of waiting until your first choice K25 Etain comes in, then perhaps wait. That’s something you have to take up with your SA

Even if you adore and wear your noir 28 a lot, I don’t think another 28 will satisfy the desire for a K25.

On the other hand, bigger bags are coming back, and the K28 is a very versatile size.

I accepted 28 Noir bc I told myself I could wait for K25 for the next bag, now I am going to be again waiting if I accept another K28, although I love my K28. I kept thinking K28 is not so big, but I keep wishing K25, sigh…

My SA asked if there was anything else I wanted and I said I wanted a __ down the line. And then I never brought up the subject again but my SA would hint at it from time to time.

Happy day for me, brought the Etain K25 Retourne home, the exact size and color I asked for.

It was fun! The store was too busy for my liking - but that has nothing to do with H or us! Had a ball!
